The Willi Elbe Group now has seven locations worldwide. The company is represented in Germany, Norway, Bulgaria, Mexico and China. The factory in Rippershausen, Thuringia has been in existence since 1992 – and celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2017 accordingly.
Around 170 employees work in Rippershausen, on a production area of around 9,000 m². Jobs and training courses – especially in technical professions – are offered regularly.
From machining, hydroforming, laser welding and plastic injection molding technology all the way to a linked assembly line for mass production: State-of-the-art equipment guarantees premium-level production.
Living and working in the Rippershausen region
The community of Rippershausen is located in a scenic area in the district Schmalkalden-Meiningen, in the federal state of Thuringia. Consisting of two districts, Solz and Melkers, it has only about 900 inhabitants.
